Elk Hunting Package
Nestled in the Pine Ridge of Nebraska, we offer deer, turkey, elk, mountain lion, and coyote hunting on a beautiful, timbered 3,600 acre ranch. Stay in our 460 sq ft newly renovated cabin right on the property. Price includes lodging. Maximum of four guests.
Guests are welcomed on their first night with a hearty, home-cooked Nebraskan meal—a warm introduction to the hospitality and tradition that define our hunting experience. Jayme will take you out and show you around the land, then you are free to hunt wherever you would like. Hike through pines, meadows, ravines and creek with greetings from mule deer and Merriam’s wild turkey.
Elk hunting - 4 full days of hunting. $3,000 per person. Price includes lodging. (maximum of four guests). Learn more about elk permits.
Archery bull: Sept. 1 – Oct. 31, 2025
Firearm bull: Sept. 21 – Oct. 31, 2025
Early Antlerless: Aug. 1 – Oct. 31, 2025
Late Antlerless: Nov. 1, 2025 – Jan. 31, 2026!
Ponderosa Ranch is a 3,600 acre working cattle and premier hunting ranch located in Northwestern Nebraska approximately eight miles southeast from Crawford and 30 miles southwest of Chadron, Nebraska. The property is an easy drive and just a few hours from Denver, Colorado. Commercial air service, colleges, hospitals and other major services are offered at Chadron, Nebraska (30 miles to the east) and Scottsbluff, Nebraska (80 miles to the south). The ranch is easily accessed off of Highway 71 by well-maintained county roads.

90% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier.
